The upcoming thriller Magic, Magic, helmed by Chilean arthouse director Sebastien Silva, is not, in fact, about a fashionable coven of stiletto-wearing urban witches, nor is it a musical ode to the ‘90s card game. So what’s it about? The promotional materials say it’s the story of “a girl vacationing with her friends in a remote area of Chile who slowly starts losing her mental faculties.”
In what capacity said girl loses her mental faculties, the press release does not say. But the important part of this story is that Magic, Magic has cast a trio of hot young actresses Mr. Skin would follow all the way to the loony bin- and though they’re young, these starlets aren't afraid to let it all hang out.
Blonde British pixie (and daughter of director Julien Temple) Juno Temple will be the one losing her facilities as the film's star. Juicy Juno bared some bang-pow! boobs as a sexually adventurous college student in Kaboom (2010).
There's been a lot of buzz surrounding Emily Browning and her torporific turn in Sleeping Beauty (2011). Skin Central hasn’t been able to confirm (yet) what Browning bares in the film, though a critic leaving the Cannes screening said: “I would [now] be able to identify every inch of her body without seeing her face." That'll wake you up in the morning!
Catalina Sandino Moreno is the least well known stateside, though this addictive Columbian export was nominated for an Oscar for her role as a drug mule in Maria Full of Grace (2004). Catalina went full frontal in The Hottest State (2007), which actually describes Skin Central when we think of these three nubile young nymphs getting naked in the wilderness together. Maybe a mountaintop skinny dip? Or a lesbian campsite orgy 'round the fire? That makes us lose our metal faculties!
Oh, yeah, and Michael Cera is going to be in it too. Magic, Magic is being shopped around at the Cannes marketplace and is set to start filming in Chile this summer.
