HAPPY BIRTHDAY HEDY! Celebrate the ‘Cell Phone’ Siren!!

Mon, Nov 9, 2015byCelebrity Sleuth

Ahundred and oneyears ago TODAY the future “Most Beautiful Woman in the World” was born in Vienna. Who knew that HEDY LAMARR would alsoshapethe future andinvent the worldwe rely on today!

“I remember all too well the premiere ofEcstasy,” then-Hedwig Keisler recalled of her 1933 Austrian film, “when I watched mybare bottombounce across the screen and my mother and father sat there in shock.”

So dideveryone elsefor the scandalous movie was “the first ever to show full frontal nudity {in the original Euro poster, butbarelyin the filmandrarelyif ever signed}

and “the first onscreen orgasm!”simulated with the director “poking me in the bottom with a safety pin”!

Her multimillionaire munitions manufacturer husband Friedrich Mandl, whom she married before the film was released, sought to buy up and burn every printthough Mussolini, an ally of her fascist hubby, refused to return hisand a dozen years later Allied soldiers discovered copies in the private safes of Nazis Goebbels and Goring. And it’s a safe bet that Hedy is the only woman in history to have had sex with both Hitler and JFK!

The former was forced on her by Mandl to win favor with the Fuhrer after a lavish party in 1935 {a friend found a gold cigarette case with engraved diamond swastika and his initials that ‘AH’ gave her as a keepsake} and the latter had her in a postwar Paris bathtub: “In an impulsive move,” she later told her literary agent Jay Garon, “Kennedy pushed me backward, my head was under water and I felt I was drowning. This caused a vaginal spasm, and he had his orgasm.”

MGM head Louis B. Mayer went to France to sign the actressand rename herin a nod to his favorite silent screen star Barbara La Marr, dubbed ‘The Woman Who Was Too Beautiful’ after she died of a drug overdose in 1926. Mayer promoted Hedy as “The Most Beautiful Woman of the Century,” but privately wondered “what can be done about her tiny tits?” (33A-22-34).

Desperate to conform, the starlet wrote her phone number in lipstick on the car windshield of neighbor George Antheil, a composer supporting himself by writing “endocrinology-based sex columns for Esquire,” to see if he could “plump up her breasts a few sizes.”

Spying a piano roll in his home, Nazi-hating Hedy hit upon the idea of using the 88 black white keys to develop “a frequency hopping spread spectrum” system that the pair invented to jam German torpedoes {applied for on Sleuth’s birthday-to-be of June 10th and granted as U.S. patent 2,292, 387 on 8/11/42}.

This technique became the basis for today’s wireless technologyleading to the development of WiFi, Bluetooth, cell phones and GPS! “I single-handedly won the War for the Americans,” she modestly maintained.
