Today's film for Foreign Film Friday takes us to Korea just in time for Asian and Pacific American Month. This is a South Korean thriller from director Sang-soo Im that is filled with sex, drama, and backstabbing thrills that will leave you on the edge of your seat. Let's look at The Housemaid.
A wealthy man hires a new maid for his house because his wife is pregnant and needs extra help. The problem is that he starts an affair with the lovely new maid behind his wife's back The wife is played by the lovely Seo Woo, but she never goes nude. That is okay because the housemaid does, fulfilling everyone's maid fantasies. The maid is played by Do-yeon Jeon who looks like the ideal, Lolita-esque young woman with doe eyes and a kissable pout that only make her perky pair look even better.
You can all guess what kind of movie this is, right? This plot is a recipe for disaster and it does indeed become disastrous in this thriller that is based on a 1960s movie of the same name. We won't spoil anything for those who love a good Korean movie, but we will spoil that our leading lady shows her breasts and buns in multiple scenes. Whether she is hanging out in a bathtub or letting her wealthy employer squeeze her jugs, she is the perfect sexpot in this film.
