For today's Foreign Film Friday, let's go to France. Or Japan. Or both. We're going to take a look at a little-known Japanese movie with a French title and a French actress called Que C'est Triste Paris.
Masanobu Deme directed this 1976 Japanese drama that stars Kenji Sawada and Claudine Auger as an interracial couple in Japan that falls in love. He's Japanese and she's French and together they can't keep their hands off of each other. We see two sex scenes in which the couple is passionately making love in this romantic drama.
Claudine was no stranger to nudity. The bombshell beauty from Paris won the title of Miss France in 1958 and went on to be nude in several films. She even played Domino in the movie Thunderball in 1965! She showed her breasts and buns in the 1971 film A Few Hours of Sunlight and acted all over Europe.
With a resume like hers, it is sort of mindboggling that this particular film is so hard to find. She was a sexy, sought-after star! Not only that, but her nudity in this film is actually her best. These are the clearest shots that we get of her jugs. I would think that fans would have been clamoring to find this film at all costs!
For the longest time this movie was a bit hard to find and it's not even listed on Masanobu Deme's IMDB page.
