You Have To Admit, The First Didn't Have These Beautiful Ladies

So, I’m going to level with all of you. I kind of want to be like everyone else on the Internet and hate the upcoming all female Ghostbusters movie, but I can’t. I think they have a great cast and I might have a crush on one of them.

I completely understand some of the outrage, Ghostbusters is considered a classic by many, including yours truly, and I don’t really care to see a remake of the original. But if it has to happen I’m kind of glad it is happening with this group of lovely, talented, and really funny women. I don’t think anyone is out to ruin anyone’s childhood by remaking a classic and I really do think we should give this movie a chance. Because it’s the right thing to do and if this movie is a hit maybe we’ll get to see more Kate McKinnon on the big screen, like in a bikini or something. Wouldn’t that be nice? Personally, I think it would be very, very nice, but that might just be me. And you know what, I’m totally fine with having a crush on the wacky girl. I find that quality charming.

Worse case scenario this movie is terrible and no one sees it and the original Ghostbusters movie becomes more popular. But this new movie has one thing the old doesn’t – Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones, and Melissa McCarthy. You can always go and not tell anyone.
