Films often change titles, but the upcoming Love is Blind is now on its third title. Filmed under the title Look Away, the film was then retitled Beautiful Darkness, which clearly didn't focus test well, so now it's been re-retitled Love is Blind, making it roughly the fifty third movie with that title.
The film's cast is a mix of familiar faces—Chloë Sevigny, Matthew Broderick—and folks I've never seen before in anything—Shannon Tarbet, anyone? Gotcha! Shannon was on theBBC seriesRellik, and though she didn't get nude, she was mighty, mighty sexy in it...
I glossed over her a moment ago, but Oscar nominee Chloë Sevigny is also on hand and when she first appears in the trailer, her shirt's unbuttoned and you can see a solid thirty percent of her right breast. That's pretty great and may bode well for some nudity in the film proper, as Chloë's never been shy about showing some skin on screen—which she just did last year as the title character in Lizzie!
Fingers crossed this one turns out better than it's exceedingly generic title would indicate, though the fact that it was filmed close to four years ago doesn't bode well. No release date has been announced, but expect it sometime this Spring. Maybe.
