This summer there has been news of a lot of canceled TV shows - some of which surprised me. The worst part? A lot of these canceled shows have proven themselves to be staples of great nudity and some of them are certainly gone too soon. Let's commemorate these canceled shows with hot nude scenes that are departing our TV landscape.
I do want to take a moment to give a nod to some shows I loved that were canceled that did not have explicit nudity such as The Other Two (canceled due to some controversy about a toxic set that the showrunners created) and Showtime's I Love That For You. I Love That For You only had one season, but it was laugh-out-loud funny. The Other Two was afforded three seasons with the third season really hitting its stride. I can't help but think about what could have been for both of these great shows!
Okay, onto the nudity:
The Great
This one really surprised me. The period piece comedy starring Elle Fanning was quite popular and it was filled with sexy actresses playing amazing characters. I personally enjoyed this series a lot!
Yellowstone
Another absolute shocker. Yellowstone is one of the most popular TV shows airing in the past few years. It has even had several spinoffs! However, lead actor Kevin Costner created some problems in the shooting schedule, and the powers that be decided to simply pull the plug on the series. That means we have to say goodbye to Kelly Reilly's amazing body.
Sex/Life
The first season of this Netflix show that stars Sarah Shahi was wildly popular. Its daring nude scenes were the talk of the internet with Tweets and TikToks dedicated to its nudity. However, the second season was not afforded that same amount of buzz. It's a shame because her boobs will always have us buzzing.
Doom Patrol
In January 2023, the news broke that the popular series was going to end after its fourth season. The DC Universe series had a good run with a bunch of great tits scattered throughout its four seasons. My favorite scenes were the topless sex scenes!
The L Word: Generation Q
The reboot of The L Word for the new queer generation did not last long, but it did live up to its predecessor in terms of very hot nude scenes. The Showtime series was lucky to fill a few seasons with lusty lesbian scenes. The series even revived former stars from the original show like Katherine Moennig in more skintastic topless nudity.
Other sexy stars included Jacqueline Toboni and the skincredibly hot Rosanny Zayas whose aerial view shower scene lives in my spank bank rent-free.
The Idol
Finally, the swiftest show to come and go on this list is definitely The Idol. The series was highly anticipated and maligned as it debuted in late spring on HBO. By the end of the summer, it was officially canned.
Lily-Rose Depp delivered seriously sexy nude scenes in nearly every episode of the show, proving herself to be a nudity idol.
