Why Can't There Be Female Nudity In X-Men?
Many of us are crossing our fingers and toes that X-Men: Apocalypse will be a great summer blockbuster. As for me, I’m totally fine if the movie is just okay or even kind of crappy. You see the plot isn’t what is bringing to me to the theater when it comes out, it's the chance to see Jennifer Lawrence in blue body paint and Olivia Munn in a tight leather outfit that will have my butt in a seat opening weekend.
Now there will be a touch of disappointment during the screening of the film because there likely won't be any nudity. Thank goodness Olivia Munn has already gone topless and Jennifer Lawrence has come close to being nude on screen, but still, part of me would like to a subplot where Jennifer Lawrence’s character has a fling with Olivia Munn’s character. While I’m sure there is plenty of fan fiction already out there wherein this exact scenario happens, it’s just not the same as seeing both of them locking lips on the big screen. Still, I don’t think the lack of the nudity should take away from the combined sexiness of two of the hottest women in Hollywood.
Maybe one day—one day soon—a movie involving characters with super powers will actually have female nudity. You have to admit, if you could control people’s mind you would at some point get some as hot as Jennifer Lawrence or Olivia Munn to take their clothes off.
