TheRazzie Awards, which coincide with the Oscars every year, are meant to showcase the worst movies and performances of the year. After all, just as some films are so impressive they're nearly life-changing, some are so horrendous that you can't help but marvel at how they accomplished this. They aren't meant to be mean spirited—the tagline, "Own Your Bad," is the epitome of the shrug emoticon vibe. Eh, what can you do?

This year, one movie accrued more awards than we've seen in awhile. Fifty Shades of Grey took home five different Razzies, starting with a tie for "Worst Picture."Both Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnsonwon "Worst Actor/Actress," and together, the two also won "Worst Screen Combo." Ouch.

Finally, the erotic blockbuster snagged"Worst Screenplay," which must be some kind of hat tip to the novel's author, E.L. James.In reality, though, I'm not sure the acting or the screenplay was really the point of the film, much like accurately depicting BDSM wasn't the intention the original book.
