Bodkin (2024-)

After a suspicious tragedy befalls the primary source for one of her articles, Irish investigative journalist Dove (Siobhán Cullen) is convinced by her boss to leave London and lay low in the fictional village of Bodkin in West Cork while working on the paper’s podcast. This move introduces her to an American podcaster named Gilbert Power (Will Forte), who previously hosted a show dedicated to his wife’s cancer and has now turned his focus to true crime, trying to solve a decades-old murder mystery in the same small town. The two end up joining forces, along with Gilbert’s researcher, Emmy Sizergh (Robyn Cara), just as the town decides to bring back the Halloween festival - during which those murders took place - for the first time in twenty-five years. At one point in episode six, the investigation leads them to a bathhouse with a bunch of bare naked nuns! They get some info from one, Patricia Twomey, as she dries off her titanic twofers. Way to put the bod in Bodkin, Patricia!
