Review

It’s a YA television series set in the world of Jenny Han’s To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before books and Netflix films, this time centered on the youngest Song-Covey daughter Katherine, known as Kitty, the resident matchmaker. Played by a now older Anna Cathcart from the previous films, Kitty reveals to her dad (John Corbett) and his new wife Trina (Sarayu Blue) that it’s her turn to leave the nest, having been accepted into the same fancy Korean boarding school her deceased mother attended, which also happens to be the same school her pen pal/boyfriend Dae (Minyeong Choi) goes to. She immediately makes her first big mistake by not telling Dae she’s coming, and right before she arrives he agrees to be in a fake relationship with the rich and popular Yuri (Gia Kim) for money, so as not to arouse her headmistress mother’s suspicions that she is, in fact, a lesbian in love with a former student named Julianna (Regan Aliyah). Between dealing with her raging teenage hormones while also trying to solve the mystery of whether or not her mom had a secret baby, there’s not much time for studying, so not top of everything else, Kitty ends up on the verge of flunking out. But Gia and Regan get a A+ for their passionate liplock in the janitor’s closet. You’ll wish for more than hugs and kisses from these misses!
