The TV landscape just keeps getting better and better - a lot of that has to do with nudity. Will 2024's newest TV series have nudity? Let's get to speculating:
True Detective
True Detective is back?! Since this is an anthology series, I am counting it as its own thing because we are so thrilled about a new take on one of our nude favorites. This season stars Jodie Foster as we are taken to Alaska for six episodes filled with drama, intrigue, and a brand-new mystery. Kali Reis and Fiona Show also star, so let's see who shows what. Never forget that True Detective brought us Alexandra Daddario!
The Perfect Couple
This series boasts an all-star cast that includes Nicole Kidman and Dakota Fanning. Based on a novel with the same title, this series is a murder mystery set in Nantucket. Nicole plays a mother who is opposed to her son's upcoming marriage to Eve Hewson. Well, the wedding ends up getting postponed when a dead body is found on the beach nearby. It's another whodunnit! And a whowillgonude?
Palm Royale
Now this series looks fun! This comedy is set in 1960s Palm Beach, Kristen Wiig plays a manipulative psycho who will do whatever it takes to fit into high society. The cast is rounded out by Laura Dern, Allison Janney, and comedy legend Carol Burnett. This sounds hilarious and I am positive all of these babes will be in their bathing suits soaking up the Palm Beach sun.
The Regime
Kate Winslet, Martha Plimpton, and Andrea Riseborough star. Need I say more? Those are three powerhouses of hotness. This satirical HBO series see Kate Winslet playing a dictator. I hope she dictates that the women in her cabinet need to take off their clothes!
Apples Never Fall
This drama sees another Liane Moriarty novel made into a limited series (she wrote Big Little Lies and Nine Perfect Strangers). This series stars Annette Bening as a former tennis coach with four children and a seemingly happy marriage. One day she suddenly disappears which makes her children look into the truth behind their parents' relationship and their family trauma. Alison Brie also stars, so let's pray we see her juicy apples!
Ripley
Andrew Scott is one of the best actors of our time. From Fleabag to All of Us Strangers, this man deserves to be a household name. Ripley might do that to him. In this Netflix drama, Andrew will revitalize the role of Tom Ripley (of The Talented Mr. Ripley fame, but this is more closely related to the book series that the film was based on) who continues his life of fraud in New York City. Dakota Fanning stars in this as well, so that's sexciting.
Mr. and Mrs. Smith
The highly-anticipated series adaptation of Mr. and Mrs. Smith is finally here and it boats some comedic cuties like Michaela Coel, Parker Posey, and PEN15 star Maya Erskine. Let's see what the chemistry is like between the secret agents in an arranged marriage when Maya plays alongside Donald Glover. Action, comedy, sex - what's not to love?
