Tremors (2019)

When the hunky salt & pepper haired evangelical father of two and husband to a beautiful wife starts to have an illicit affair, it sends shockwaves through his household and his community...  Not just because infidelity is wrong in Guatemala, but because he's having a homosexual affair, which in the heavy catholic and repressive country, that makes the sin of his actions just that much more damning.  So, as he slowly begins to realize that he is in fact gay, the people around him rally and force him into a brutal "conversion therapy" to pray away the gay, so to speak.  It creates an unflinching portrait of how intolerance in a religious Latin American country can bring out the worst in everyone instead of acceptance and understanding.  While the content is heavy enough, Tremors definitely doesn't mind using some nudity to drive the narrative as most indie arthouse movies lean on and there is a sauna scene with a bevy of ladies talking about the main character while in the buff and Alexandra Colom and Diane Batham are featured in the center of the steamy nude scene for your viewing pleasure.
