Splash seemed like a simply 1980s mermaid comedy starring Daryl Hannah that is the farthest thing from being offensive. Disney+ is now offering Splash to watch on their streaming platform, but one Twitter user pointed out that they edited out Daryl's nudity in a hilarious way: by extending her hair to cover her naughty bits. It doesn't even look natural, but Disney's "hair technology" covers her buns every time she's naked in the movie.

It's completely ridiculous they did this. People can't handle seeing Ms. Hannah's hiney? Did Disney think their viewers would clutch their pearls at faint? Or were they concerned the hornier of us would be too turned on by this leggy mermaid who goes topless? Okay, they have a point there.
