Thela Brown first came to prominence as the contestant "Rain" on VH1's Flavor or Love reality competition show where women pretended to not be repulsed by Flavor Flav. She parlayed that success into an acting career, appearing in such films as Romantic Weirdos and the Land of Oddz (2007), Grey Skies (2010), and Anger Has a Secret (2010), on which she also served as First Assistant Director and Producer.
