There is a lot of purposeful TV nudity these days and you will never hear me complain about that. However, I still get some joy from seeing accidental nudity on my television. Wardrobe malfunctions, nip slips, skirting flying up - those are exciting moments for discerning eyes. Here are the top five best moments in accidental TV nudity!
5. Khloe Kardashian on Fox and Friends
The Kardashians are no strangers to publicity stunts and so much of their careers are heavily coordinated by their PR genius mother Kris Jenner. However, when Khloe wore a sheer blouse without a bra on Fox and Friends she definitely did not seem aware of the fact that the blouse had shifted and her nipple was on full display. It's a rare moment of an uncoordinated Kardashian mishap and it lets us see Khloe's nip in plain view.
4. Camila Cabello on The One Show
Speaking of nipples on morning shows, Cuban singer Camila Cabello seemed unprepared for an interview on The One Show. She was wearing a loose-fitting button-down shirt that was barely buttoned and unbuttoned pants. She stood up to button the pants, apologizing because she had just eaten a sandwich, and that is when she accidentally brushed her shirt off her shoulder to reveal one breast. How delicious!
3. Dancing with the Stars
If one show has consistently given us accidental nudity, it's Dancing with the Stars. From Monique Coleman's ass to Nancy Grace's nipple (that's right - we got Nancy Grace's nipple on camera), the stars shake what their mama gave them and sometimes that falls out of their costume. Coleman's skirt was sliding off of her big beautiful behind and it wound up revealing the top of her rump.
Sharna Burgess also had a big nip slip - so noticeable that the host told her to pull up her top on camera. You can watch that accidental nip slip right here:
2. Jessie Nizewitz on Dating Naked
I mentioned Dating Naked earlier in the week, but this moment bares repeating because it was a very rare moment in TV nudity. It was rare because we saw butt AND backburger from contestant Jessie Nizewitz as she wrestled on the beach. She is covered in mud and sand, but VH1 forgot to censor her nether region as she bent over to reveal all.
Jessie was obviously fine with nudity - she did, after all, sign up to be on the show where everyone was nude but everything was guaranteed to be censored. She decided to take the opportunity to sue VH1 for this mistake and she wound up walking away richer. Nudity pays!
1.Janet Jackson at The Superbowl
This moment is infamous. It practically broke the internet, launched Youtube, and had people flocking to Mr. Skin in droves to get a replay of the wardrobe malfunction that had everyone talking for days, months, and years to come. Hell, we're obviously still talking about it!
Justin Timberlake ripped off the top of Janet's bodice - in a move that honestly makes less sense over time since he then shamed HER for being nude and she has repeatedly stated that this moment was humiliating for her which makes me wonder...just what was Justin doing? What did he THINK would happen? He wanted to show her nipple and then he tried to act like a squeaky clean mouse cadet in interviews and pretend that he didn't? Was it all planned, but they both individually panicked after the public backlash?
I don't know. As I said, it's a weird move. But it's notorious and it did give us Janet's nipple barely covered by a spikey pasty.
