The Shrink Next Door (2021)

The Shrink Next Door (2021) is a series starring a bunch of comedic greats like Will Ferrell, Paul Rudd, and the fantastic Kathryn Hahn. This is the story of a man named Marty who starts seeing a therapist that helps him get his life on the right track. The therapist is named Dr. Ike who is on a mission to help Marty fix his boundaries and communicate better. This story takes place over the course of 30 years where we get to watch Marty practice his boundaries until it takes over his life and we see what happens when those supposed boundaries get crossed. Marty is played by Will Ferrell who starts off as a man in need of great help and grows into a guy who can enjoy his life. Paul Rudd plays his therapist who earns Marty's trust and then pushes it all over the edge. This Apple original is actually loosely based on a true story and it has equal parts comedy and drama - and thrills! Therapy is working for Marty and watching this show is working for us because of its female stars who show just a little bit of skin and sexiness. Kathryn Hahn plays Phyllis Shapiro, Marty's sister, who looks amazing in some exercise gear after she takes a group aerobics class. She wears white tights and a leotard with a sweater over it. This is quite the aerobics get up! She spreads her legs and dances in a suggestive way that won't make you shrink.
