The Dark Heart (2022)

From the director of the Danish crime drama The Guilty, Gustav Möller, comes this thrilling five-part series from Denmark and Sweden based loosely on a true story. Tanja Thorell (Aliette Opheim) is a volunteer working with Swedish Missing Persons looking into the disappearance of Bengt Ljungqvist (Peter Andersson), a wealthy landowner who made his fortune exploiting the struggling farmers who lease his property. It looks like foul play and the most likely suspect is Bengt’s 21-year old daughter Sanna (Clara Christiansson Drake), who lived under the strict rule of her father while he disregards any of her input about the family business despite her having a degree in forest-management. This sends her straight into the naked arms of Marcus Tingstrom (Gustav Lindh), the son of a man Bengt’s been feuding with for ages, and we get a great look at Clara’s cha chas as the two have sex on the grass. The heart may be dark, but her headlamps are well lit and absolutely heavenly!
