Retro skin rules this week on DVD and Blu-ray as PJ Soles bares more than her soul in the extended Blu-ray cut of Stripes (1981), Joan Severance fires her bra as See No Evil, Hear No Evil (1989) hits Blu-ray, and Clara Bow delivers the skintage nudity in the silent-era classic Wings (1927), nude on Blu-ray.
Also nude on Blu-ray, sink your teeth into some lesbian Euro-vamps as Jean Rollin's Shiver of the Vampires (1970), The Nude Vampire (1970), Lips of Blood (1975) and Fascination (1979) get the HD treatment.
Pollyanna McIntosh stars in the week's only notable nude release, The Woman (2011), where she bares her McIntosh apples and full-frontal furburger as a feral female:
A wholesome New England patriarch is not what he seems in The Woman (2011). Chris Cleek (Sean Bridgers) is a successful country lawyer and cheerful psychopath who runs his family with an iron fist. One day while out hunting, Chris stumbles across a filthy, feral woman (Pollyanna McIntosh), the last surviving member of a wild backwoods clan. Daddy Dearest chains the lady in his basement and brings the kids down to see their new pet, telling them they’re going to “help” her. But his savage captive doesn’t show the gratitude he thinks she should...Pollyanna McIntosh is our unnamed protagonist, and when we first see her, she's washing her filthy funbags in a stream. She then flashes full frontal when she's first chained to the wall, then her pumpkins pop out again as the family dresses- and undresses- her. She'll make you rattle your balls and chain!
Lovable loser Bill Murray doesn’t have anything better to do than join the Army in the comedy classic Stripes (1981). However, Murray and buddy Harold Ramis soon learn they have to take MP’s Sean Young and P.J. Soles very seriously. The movie further mixes gags and groins with a stellar turn by Roberta Leighton as the woman who drives Murray into the Army. Susan Mechsner also rates a 21-crotch salute as a naked mud wrestler, while sleazy Captain John Larroquette contributes by turning his military-issue binoculars onto a passel of showering femmes. Keep your eyes peeled for the extended Blu-ray edition of the film, which features PJ slowly stripping as she horses around. At ease, soldier!
Big-time funny men Gene Wilder and Richard Pryor go together like death and taxes--resisting their inexorable push toward mirth is pointless. Americans in droves succumbed to the duo’s combined comedic thrust in Silver Streak (1976) and Stir Crazy (1980). Silver Streak’s director, Arthur Hiller reunites with the unlikely pair for another taste of tandem hilarity and mayhem in See No Evil, Hear No Evil (1989). See No, Hear No asks the question: Can a blind guy and a deaf guy at the scene of a crime add up to one decent witness? Arriving at the answer entails a great deal of slapstick debate. Fast-forward to the 1 hour, 8 minute mark, where fire-breathing brunette Joan Severance cuts off all doubt as to the delectability of her delicacies by leaning naked from a shower to reach far, far away for a towel.
Wings (1927) is the heroic tale of Jack Powell (Charles “Buddy” Rogers) and David Armstrong (Richard Arlen). The two dashing young men compete for the affections of Clara Bow as Mary Preston, but when World War I approaches, the rivals put their differences aside and become fighter pilots. Wings is remembered as a stirring critical and popular favorite, but will live forever for containing Hollywood's first major accidental nudity. We get a skintillating glimpse of Clara's milk cans when her beaus burst into her 
dressing room and she scrambles to cover up. Nice bo-bos, Miss Bow!
Le Frisson des vampires ( aka Shiver of the Vampires) (1970) follows a young honeymooning couple traveling through the eastern European countryside who stop for the night at a mysterious and ancient castle. Little do they know that behind the castle walls is a coven of vampires plotting all manner of gruesome horror. The great atmosphere and musical score make this a much better than average monster flick. Tons and tons of nudity involving the sublime Sandra Julien and her bucking B-52s don’t hurt either.
Avant-garde meets Eurosleaze meets bloodsuckers and lookers in Jean Rollin's The Nude Vampire (1970), a kooky, arty take on the neck-nibbler flick. The story (as much as there is a story) centers on a wealthy fella and a few of his pals who cook up a crazy vampire-worshiping secret society. It's a suicide cult, a collective effort at studying vampires scientifically, and a seriously strange way to spend an evening or two. The wealthy fella's son, Olivier Martin, stumbles onto Pop's weird world and promptly finds himself fixated on titular vein muncher Caroline Cartier, who went on to be nude in Le Maestro (1977) and Plus a va, moins a va (1977).
In Lips of Blood (1975), a young man is haunted by disturbing and powerful memories of his youth. In his vision, he is beside an ancient castle and speaking with a woman dressed all in white. What do these strange thoughts mean? Vampires! It turns out that his family is full of them, and he now must come to terms with his dark legacy. Martine Grimaud walks down the staircase starkers, giving us a nice long sexy look at the muffin and the stun grenades.
Muff-munching bloodsuckers with perky pairs, oh my! If it's lesbian vampires you want, then Fascination (1979) is your fare . . . served rare! It stars Jean Marie Lemaire as a thief on the run who holes up in a castle owned by two beauteous broadsBrigitte Lahaie and Franca Maiand finds himself quickly compelled to stick around. Brigitte develops a thing for Jean, and she tries to warn him to leave the chateau before nightfallbut the prospect of heading out to face the dangerous gang that's on his tail pales in comparison to the thought of impaling sweet Brigitte. Jean decides to stay, but at a super-Sapphic shindig thrown by the wayward ladies, he comes to realize that his hostesses are Draculettes, their guests are pledges in a plasma-quaffing society of the damned, and he has a serious problem on his hands.
