Of course, our version of Staff Picks has a decidedly skintillating angle, as we suss out which films from a particular subgenre are the best to find great nudity. This week, we cover a classic: Caribbean nude scenes!
People love movies from North America. They also love movies from Central and South America...but what about the tiny region in between known as The Caribbean. Believe it or not, there are a lot of very good films that come out of the island nations that dot the Caribbean Sea. Since it tends to be so hot and breezy in this region, those films also have skintastic nudity.
Strawberry and Chocolate
Considered one of the masterpieces of Cuban cinema, Strawberry and Chocolate is a sultry romance that was even nominated for Best Foreign Film at the Oscars and it still holds the distinction of being the only Cuban film to earn that nomination. It was nominated for a good reason: it is a hot and horny movie. Er, I mean, it's good. It is a good film.
It is also hot and horny. Cuban women just add that undeniable sizzle to any film (looking at you, Ana de Armas). Marilyn Solaya stands out as the film's fine-as-hell leading lady. Muy caliente!
Hotel Coppelia
The Dominican Republic surprised us all with this sexy drama filled to the brim with sex! Hotel Coppelia takes us into the lives of women who work at a brothel in 1965. We meet several sex workers going about their busy and busty lives before the United States invades and turns their lives upside down. This is how you do a historical drama, folks: skin skin and more skin!
The hot women at work include Freissy Gutierrez, Nashla Bogaert, Ruth Emeterio, Camila Santiago, and so so so many more. There are threesomes, shower scenes, sex scenes, and changing scenes garlore. This is a hotel that you will enver want to check out of.
Belly
The ladies in Belly Jamaican me crazy, so you know that we are hanging out in Jamaica for this 1998 film. Hype Williams made his feature film debut when he directed this flick co-written by the one and only Nas. Nas and DMX star in this Jamaican-produced film about drug dealers in Queens who want to make a bigger move.
The plot is honestly crazy! The friends are pulled in different directions with one wanting to get in touch with his heritage while the other joins the Nation of Islam. The friends start straying from one another, but they still have one thing in common: their hunger for beautiful women! Tasty tits from Taral Hicks do a Belly good.
Shottas
Here is another Jamaican film that was made by American hip-hop stars. Wyclef Jean and Ky-Mani (Bob Marley's son!) star in this gritty thriller which was once described as "the Jamaican Scarface" by Variety. Shottas follows two drug traffickers deported from the United States because of their crimes. When they go back to Kingston, Jamaica, the boys get back to work making up fake visas so that they can go back to America.
They aren't all business. The guys in Shottas take time to take their shots with beautiful busty broads. You'll really Jamaican jerk off to these chicks!
Juan of the Dead
Do you remember Shawn of the Dead? Well, this is the explicitly Cuban take on that film following a drunkard named Juan who doesn't have much going for him. The Cuban slacker inadvertently becomes Cuba's last hope of survival when the zombie apocalypse descends upon Havana. Juan and his drinking buddy Lazaro stay in the city and fight off the zombies. It is a genuinely fun zombie film - perfect for spooky season.
Juan and Lazaro get busy fighting the dead, but they get their life from the heavenly hotties in Havana. \Only ten minutes into the movie, we see Susana Pous' pair and we later get treated to Blanca Rosa Blanco's yabos, too.
Four Seasons in Havana
Four Seasons in Havana is a modern crime thriller that is actually a mini-series. The greatest thrill of all! The plot follows a detective solving a crime who gets involved in a passionate love affair that might just get in the way of his case. Once you see Yudith Castillo you would go ahead and let her obscure your judgement. She bares her brown boobs in hot lovemaking scenes to last you all four seasons.
Another hot actress in the series is Juana Acosta who is music to our ears when she nudely plays the sax with la bandera cubana behind her. More like playing the SEX.
