Our Staff Picks column takes you back to a time when video stores reigned supreme and the "Staff Picks" section was the place to find out what films were worthy of one's time. Of course, our version of Staff Picks has a decidedly skintillating angle, as we suss out which films from a particular subgenre are the best to find great nudity. This week let's cover one of the absolute BEST years in moviemaking: 90s sci-fi.
1990's sci-fi films are a treat. They are epically cool, using new forms of technology available to moviemaking in the 90s, and they star hot women in badass roles. Those women also take off their clothes which is what makes these action-packed sci-fi films worth watching:
Fortress
Stuard Gordon's Fotress is a vision of a creepy future in this anxiety-ridden dystopia where corporations monitor everything that humans do. As a result, only one kid is allowed per couple. So when a couple breaks this rule, there is hell to pay! Before our leading man gets sent to dysoptian prison, we watch him get it on with Loryn Locklin. Lock in on that ass when she sits on top of him!
The Fifth Element
This 1997 film by director Luc Besson is a personal 90s sci-fi favorite. It's bright, colorful, hilarious, campy, and action-packed. Plus there are tits. Call me crazy, but those are all things that I personally like a lot. We go on a journey through futuristic space with one of the hottest babes in 90s sci-fi. Her look in this movie is iconic. You know exactly what I am talking about:
That's right. The gorgeous Milla Jovovich played the famously orange-haired hottie from the future named Leeloo who learns about modern society while kicking ass in a white strappy outfit that manages to hold her TA in as she runs around the universe. Luckily, we see her breasts when she changes into something a little more comfortable!
Dark City
1998's Dark City is an odd one. Rufus Sewell stars as a man who wakes up with clear memories of a woman he was married to...except that he's never been married. There is no wife. He also has vivid memories of killing multiple people, but Rufus has never physically killed anyone before. So who is the wife and is he a serial killer? Those arequestions that he has to answer in this tense sci-fi.
It turns out that aliens are doing an experiment on humans where they swap their identities in order to study the psychological makeup of Earthlings. As he and Kiefer Sutherland work together to figure things out, Jennifer Connelly plays the gorgeous girl of his dreams. Melissa George also goes nude to prove that she is one hot human specimen!

Total Recall
I can't talk about 90s sci-fi without talking about Paul Verhoeven's wild and wonderful Total Recall. Based on the story by Philip K. Dick, Arnold Schwarzenegger plays a man who enjoys having sex with his wife, Sharon Stone, at the top of the movie. Okay, that's not the entire plot. There is also the infamous Martian bar where Lycia Naff flashes three breasts.
Again, it's not the plot and those boobs are obviously fake. But wouldn't it be awesome to see something like that for real? There's a reason why this movie is so famous. Actually, there are three reasons: Lycia's triplets!
