Riverdale is going to air its final episode today and with that comes the end of an era (The AV club even said this). The CW's hit teen show took the wholesome Archie comics and turned them on their head to make a teen soap opera that put a dark spin on the characters that so many of us grew up reading comics about.
Riverdale has also been a very sexy show. As a CW show, it could not do much in the way of nudity...but it did get away with a lot.
One thing that it got away with was showing actress Camila Mendes' nipple. It is a brief nipple shot and it seems to be purely accidental, but it definitely made it to air. She had a shower makeout and when she lifted her arm, we saw a nipple. What's interesting about this is that it means that the scene was shot with a topless Ms. Mendes. Why is that?
Why would CW shoot a scene with nudity when they can't actually show nudity on air? It may be a conspiracy, but it makes me think that the nipple was purposeful. Is it possible that Riverdale was catering to people like us who would look for something like that? I'm just speculating here, but I spy with my little eye a nipple that didn't even need to be there to begin with.

Other than that, the girls stuck to cleavage - and lots of it. Redheaded hottie Madelaine Petsch consistently jammed her bosom into low-cut tops. Sometimes she disregarded the top altogether and opted to show off her lingerie. Atta girl!
She wasn't the only cleavage-baring beauty. Blonde babe Lili Reinhart played Betty Cooper and she gave the seemingly squarely-clean character a very sultry sheen. While her character gets darker throughout the show, it is a delight to see this goody-two-shoes jam her two jugs into low-cut blouses and lingerie. This good girl goes wild!
One other thing that there was a lot of? Lesbian lip locks. These girls could not keep their hands off of each other - or their lips. They all made out with one another, seemingly swapping partners whenever they felt like it. I get it. If you were surrounded by women this hot, why wouldn't you try to kiss all of them? More female friends should kiss!
It's also worth mentioning that Riverdale essentially influenced an entire genre of dark and twisted teen shows. From Chilling Adventures of Sabrina to Wednesday, we all have Riverdale to thank for a dark, weird take on childhood favorites. In fact, Sabrina and Riverdale took place in the same universe which prompted a visit from actress Kiernan Shipka herself.
We will miss you, Riverdale. We don't know what teen drama could possibly replace you. Thank you for introducing us to all of these hot babes with big boobs.
