Safe Word (2023)

After a chance meeting, Colette (Moriah Brown) starts to fall hard for the handsome and charismatic Ethan (Gavin Houston), especially after he introduces her to his BDSM toys and restraints that help her push past sexual limits and find new forms of pleasure, like having a threesome at a sex club. She gets so wrapped up in this new world 0f BDSM that she neglects her work, family and friends, and eventually the two run off and get married. Ethan has explained the concept of the safe word to Colette, a special word to use to indicate if she eve feels uncomfortable, but the balance of trust and power gets thrown off when he starts trying to convince her not to use it. Colette then crosses paths with Stephanie (Shaquita Smith) who’s past relationship with Ethan was so damaging she’s now completely unhinged and it leads Colette to discover that her husband is a member of a secret society of high-powered, dangerous men. It would be 50 Shades of Grey but more evil, except the sex scenes are all pretty tame, but the marvelous Moriah still rocks a lacy undergarment with the best of ‘em. She displays some racy cleavage in a scene where Gavin rubs an ice cube on her while she lays on the kitchen counter, but skin-wise this TV movie plays it pretty safe.
