Robbie Williams (2023)

Netflix’s documentary series about the life and career of the British musical artist, featuring 25 years of personal archival footage, interviews with Williams, and lots of friends, family, and colleagues over the years. Skipping over his childhood, it starts with his early days in the popular band Take That, delves into the feud that ultimately led to his departure and subsequent drug use, his comeback as a solo artist, his declining mental health, then to his relapses, romance, and reunion with his former band mates. Among the film footage is video of Robbie on holiday with Spice Girl Geri Halliwell in 2000, sporting lots of skin in a number of string bikinis as the two sunbathe, swim, and wrestle in the grass. We’ve never prayed so hard for a wardrobe malfunction to spice things up, but Geri’s cleavage sadly stays inside her swim suit.
