Riverdale has officially come to an end and the ending was very shocking. The show has been running since 2017, but it just saw its finale yesterday and audiences were both delighted and shocked. This most recent ending was fantastic and, just like the rest of the show, it titillated and surprised us. Wait until you hear about this.
As we mentioned earlier in the week, Riverdale was coming to an end after a long run on the CW. Lili Reinhart had been playing Betty while Camila Mendes had been playing Veronica. Both of them were super spicy on the show and they occasionally engaged in lesbian behavior as well as plenty of straight scenes with the show's leading men. Despite all of that, few of us saw this sexy series ending coming!
So what's the big reveal? Okay, steady yourself. Here it is:
The reveal at the end of the entire show was that Betty Cooper had been in a polycule-style relationship with Archie Andrews, Veronica Lodge, and Jughead. That means that Betty and Veronica were enjoying some foursome moments with Archie and Jughead. Who ever saw that coming from the Archie comics?
The show flash-forwarded far into the future to catch up with the gang in old age and fill in the gaps of what happened in their lives between their youthful high school days and now. Apparently, what happened was sex. Lots of it and with multiple people.
This show has been through a lot. It started off as a dark retelling of the children's comics which would turn the squeaky-clean 50s icons into teens with real problems. After a few seasons, there have been multiple affairs, mysteries, murders, prison, and even cults.
There was so much going on in this show that four of the characters entering a polyamorous relationship should not have been too surprising. But it still was! That's what I will miss most about Riverdale. It was always keeping us guessing!
I will obviously miss the show and all of its sexy stars. Let's all hope that these babes keep returning to TV to make us drool. I'll even take more foursomes that include Camila and Lili! Hell, they can get rid of the guys and just get down to it by themselves. They could promote themselves from the CW and go to more nudity-friendly shows.
That being said, Camila did have a nip slip in one episode which was a shower sequence in which she raised her arm to kiss her man and she showed a nipple. As I mentioned the other day, this means that Camila was actually topless during this scene which is very interesting. It's rare that an actor would get nude when they don't technically have to. Despite the fact that this wasn't intended to be a nude scene, nudity came through.
