Born under the name "Rita Joanne Simons" on March 10, 1977, in Whipps Cross, Leytonstone, London, England, blonde Brit babe Rita Simons — who also happens to be the niece of London millionaire Sir Alan Sugar — hasn’t let scoliosis stop her from attaining success as an award-winning actress, nor has she let ADHD, OCD, anxiety, and insomnia get in her way. Before landing the recurring role of "Roxy" on the popular British soap opera EastEnders (1985), Rita played with the girl group Girls@Play and made appearances on Dream Team (2002) and Mile High (2003), a British dramedy soap opera series set on a commercial airline.
