The news broke today that actress Pamela Salem has passed away at the age of 80. The British babe was in several iconic films and television series - and she's gone nude. Let's remember Pamela Salem's legacy, both skintastic and fantastic.

R.I.P. Pamela Salem: Remembering Her Skintastic Legacy

Pamela Salem was born in 1944 in Bombay, India. Her father was Jewish and her mother was Sri Lankan, adding to her exotic good looks. She left India to study at both Heidelberg University in Germany and also at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London. She was a very educated and well-trained young actress!

She began acting in the late 60s and early 70s in British TV series. She managed to snag roles in James Bond films AND Doctor Who. She played Bond's infamous secretary Miss Moneypenny in the 1983 film Never Say Never Again with Sean Connery. Before you all yell at me, I know that this film is an "unofficial" Bond film to die-hard fans because it was not produced by Eon Films, but it's a very famous movie, she played a very famous role, and the film is filled with beautiful women. So it counts!

Let's talk about her other legendary role. In Doctor Who, she played Professor Rachel Jensen. She first showed up in the series in 1988 in the Remembrance of the Daleks episodes with the seventh Doctor. She. reprised this role again in 2020's The Dalek Gambit and in a spinoff series called Counter-Measures as well as a few more times.

She also appeared as a UK Prime Minister Maureen Graty on The West Wing as well as roles in ER, Party of Five, Big Love, Then Churchill Said to Me, and more. She never stopped working!

Before she did any of this, she starred in a bunch of sexy and groovy films throughout the 1970s. She made her nude debut in the 1979 film The Bitch where Pamela was anything but a bitch. In fact, she was a hero and a saint because she showed us her mams. Let's just call her Mamela!

The Bitch was a sequel to a 1978 film called The Stud starring Joan Collins. Both films are based on novels by British actress Jackie Collins (Joan's sister!) and both of them were fairly low-budget but made a lot of money at the box office and in home video profit. I can see why this film made money on the rising home video industry of the early 1980s. People could press rewind and see Pamela's pair again and again.

You can watch her nudity in The Bitch here and remember Pamela Salem's skintastic legacy. Rest in Peace, Pamela.
