The home-redecorating show Trading Spaces (2000) took America by storm, and any skinthusiast with a pulse can see why. Hammy hostess Paige Davis combines saucy impertinence with the kind of casual (read: T-shirts and jeans) sex appeal that is seen in young marrieds or single career women as they distractedly peruse the aisles of Home Depot. Don’t they look great handling all those tools? Paige is the readily laughing, idealized embodiment of the fixer-upper femme next door. And her boyfriend isn’t there to glare if you stare too long! Many of the guests on Trading Spaces agree to appear on the show solely in the hopes of getting Davis into their bedrooms. Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Paige grew up in Louisville, Kentucky, where she graduated from the Louisville Youth Performing Arts School. Paige went on to attend the Meadows School of the Arts at Southern Methodist University in Dallas, Texas. She started out in musical theater and dance, spending nearly three years in the national touring company of the Broadway musical Beauty and the Beast. She also appeared in the Broadway production of Chicago. Eventually, Paige headed to Los Angeles, California, where she appeared in commercials and even toured with The Beach Boys. Sadly, she hasn't stripped down in any of her onscreen work. If you want to catch a glimpse of Paige's skin, you'll have to tune in to awards shows, which she often attends in low-cut gowns.
