4. Drew Barrymore’s bloody good shower scene in Doppleganger: The Evil Within (1993). Made during Drew’s late-night cable Poison Ivy phase, Doppleganger is the story of a girl who moves from New York to LA after the violent death of her mother. Drew believes she is being stalked by a doppleganger, a shadowy twin who killed her mom and is trying to kill her, though her shrink has a somewhat different view on the situation. In this scene, those famous Barrymore mams get plenty of screen time when a seemingly innocent shower turns into a literal bloodbath. We want Barry-more!
3. Lisa Bonet casting a nude spell as voodoo queen Epiphany Proudfoot in Angel Heart (1987). Fresh off her run on The Cosby Show, Lisa caused quite a stir with this hot, wet, SM-tinged sex scene with Mickey Rourke. Censors insisted that several seconds be trimmed for the film to get an R rating, and many speculate that Angel Heart was the cause of Lisa’s departure for the spinoff series A Different World that same year. This Triple-B skinterracial romp doesn’t turn out so well for Epiphany, but you’ll be slapping yourself silly with the uncut scene, restored for the Blu-ray release.
