1982 was the year Valley Girl, like, exploded from a SoCal dialect into an international cultural phenomenon thanks to Frank Zappa, and it was totally the year Michael Jackson sold about 18 gazillion copies of Thriller, but Mr. Skin fondly remembers it as the Year of the Teen Sex Comedy: Porky's, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, and The Last American Virgin, all immortal classics of this most skinful of all genres, were all released in 1982.
Phoebe Cates ruled the roost in 1982, skinspiring a million horny young men (besides Judge Reinhold) to strangle their sausages with her topless scene in Fast Times at Ridgemont High.
Phoebe's nude scene in the appropriately-titled Paradise the same year only sweetened the snake-slapping deal.
There were boatloads of naked babes in Porky's, but it's Kaki Hunter's freckled face (and perky pair) that still linger in Mr. Skin's mind. Wendy Williams forever!
Though she cruelly broke Lawrence Monoson's heart in The Last American Virgin, Mr. Skin still looks back fondly on Diane Franklin's teenage peaks in that film.
...Ok, it's not a teen sex comedy, but Mariel Hemingway's nude debut as a Sapphic track athlete in Personal Best is still one for the ages.
