Lots of Los Angeles ladies dream of being a California girl, but Michelle Belegrin truly is one. She grew up in Sacramento, studied at the University of California at Santa Barbara, and made her way to Los Angeles. Standing at over 5’7”, the statuesque brunette made quite a career for herself as a model for both print and commercials, landing gigs with Honda, Panasonic, and Bally’s Total Fitness. She’s also done editorial work, with pix in Marie Claire, Elle, She, and Fashion Quarterly magazines. Her first role was playing Mrs. J. Johnson in Potheads: The Movie (2006), and it only got better from there. Later that same year, she was cast as series regular Andrea Zavatti, the daughter of a restaurant owner and the girl who comes between two brothers in Desire, a series on MyNetworkTV (part of the FOX family) that ran in 2006. In the show, Michelle gets sexy in several scenes, getting it on with dudes and stripping down to the essentials for a network television show. On the actual FOX network, she popped up as Juliette in the 2006 series Kitchen Confidential, back when Bradley Cooper was still deciding between a film career or a television one, and she played Yeoman Malloy in a 2009 episode of CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, followed by one as Vanessa in CSI: Miami. On the big screen, Michelle has mostly appeared in smaller films, like Red 71 (2008) as Lorain, and playing Vincenzo’s assistant in For a Fistful of Diamonds(2009), but she also grabbed a part as Priscella in Project Solitude (2009) with Eric Roberts, and one as Angela in Blood and Bone (2009) with Michael Jai White and Julian Sands.
