María Fernanda García is a beautiful name, and a beautiful woman. Born in Mexico City, Mexico, she began her acting career in her native country at the age of 20, and has worked consistently every since, preferring to stay where she was born. In other words, you won’t get to see the marvelous María on screen unless you have a penchant for Mexican cinema or Mexican television. And this beauty has a lot of television credits under her belt. Noting only those roles that landed her above 40 episodes, she played Ligia in Sueño de amorin 1993, Reyna Olmos in Verano de amor in 2009, Doña Soledad in Sin tu mirada in 2018, Estela Lesmes in La piloto from 2017-2018, Amelia Campos La Pastora in Como tú no hay dos in 2020, and Licha González in Una familia de diez from 2007-2020. On the big screen, her part in Between Pancho Villa and a Naked Woman(1995) is quite memorable, with the star lounging naked on a bed, posing and attempting seduction as she runs her fingers over her bare breasts, curved hip, and furry kitty. Meow, indeed. The actress is also known for her role as the makeup artist in Bienvenido-Welcome (1994), for which she won a Silver Ariel Award for Best Actress in a Minor Role, Mexico’s equivalent of an Academy Award. She also delighted fans as Rocío in Amor letra por letra (2008), translated as Love, Letter by Letter, a comedy romance, and as the therapist in Como matar a un esposo muerto (2017), or How to Kill a Dead Husband, a comedy flick.
