Linda Thompson is a southern belle through and through. Born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, the blonde bombshell was the Homecoming Queen of her high school then was named Miss Liberty Bowl, Miss Shelby County, and Miss Tennessee Universe. After using pageants to put herself through college, Ms. Thompson’s life changed in 1972 when she met Elvis Presley. She was with The King for nearly five years, living with him in Graceland. After the two broke up, she moved to Hollywood to act and appeared in a number of Aaron Spelling’s TV series as well as several other shows and TV pilots. She really found her niche as a songwriter, penning numerous songs for soundtracks and musical icons like Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion, and Kenny Rogers, as well as pop stars Backstreet Boys and Richard Marx. Her biggest hit was the song “I Have Nothing” from The Bodyguard (1992) soundtrack for which she was nominated for a Grammy and an Oscar. Along the way, she married and divorced music producer David Foster and Olympian turned reality TV star Bruce Jenner (who then later became Caitlyn Jenner).
Although her acting career was short lived, the sexy, busty songbird did manage to shed her top to show off her perky set with pink, puffy nipples during a shower scene in Bare Exposure (1993). Linda hasn’t acted since the early 1990’s so there isn’t much chance of her getting naked again soon. That said, she is still an active songwriter, has published her memoirs, and works regularly behind the scenes on TV show soundtracks so you never know if the one time nearly Queen of Rock n’ Roll might bust out the royal chesticles one more time!
