Justified: City Primeval (2023)

U.S. Marshal Raylan Givens (Timothy Olyphant) is back in this Western-esque series adaptation of the Elmore Leonard novel City Primeval: High Noon in Detroit. The lawman ends up in the Motor City when he has to testify in the trial of a Detroit thug who tried to carjack him and kidnap his 15-year-old daughter Willa (real-life daughter Vivian Olyphant) while he was driving the headstrong teen to a disciplinary summer camp in Florida. The judge at the trial (Keith David) had just narrowly avoided being blown up by a car bomb and, despite arguing with him on the stand, he thinks Raylan is just the guy to find out who’s trying to kill him. This eventually gets Raylan tangled up in the pursuit of “Oklahoma Wildman” Clement Mansel (Boyd Holbrook), who’s recently returned to Detroit and wreaking havoc. Adelaide Clemens brings the heat in a whole other way, playing casino waitress Sandy Stanton, Clement’s girlfriend/partner in crime. There’s a quick scene of Adelaide giving Boyd a “welcome back” bangin’ followed by her lighting up a joint and getting some toes kisses. If that has you sportin’ a boner, you're totally justified!
