Most folks will recognize boob tube babe Julie Marie Berman for playing Lulu Spencer on the ABC daytime soap opera General Hospital (2005-2013), especially since her long-running stint paid off with three Daytime Emmy Awards! Yet there’s more to this blonde ingénue than just selling soap. The Los Angeles native started early, at age six to be exact, working in hundreds of TV commercials until her breakthrough came when she was cast as the misunderstood Shelby Connor on 7th Heaven (1997-1999). A recurring role on the ABC series Once and Again (1999-2000) followed, as did several guest spots on various shows, as well as a Degree in Television and Cinema from the University of Southern California in 2006. From 2015 to 2016, the brainy beauty could be regularly seen on the NBC medical drama Chicago Med and the Hulu dramedy Casual. Since then, the hardworking hottie starred in the Hallmark movie Love on Ice (2017). But, here at Skin Central, we’re partial to Julie’s part in the chiller diller Sand Sharks (2011). As implied by its title, the direct-to-video flick features killer sharks looking for human sushi on the beach. What the title doesn’t mention are the killer curves on Ms. Berman.
