In From the Cold (2022)

Jenny Franklin (Margarita Levieva) is your typical American single mom, raising her teenage daughter in a non-descriptive suburb, grocery shopping while her kid is at school, cooking dinner, and chaperoning school trips.  That is until one day when Jenny is hit with some knockout gas and wakes up in a hotel room with burly CIA agents surrounding her, accusing her of being a spy!  As Jenny tries to explain to them that she isn't who they think she is, her training kicks in and she beats the holy hell out of several men in an instant!  You see, they are right, Jenny is actually Anya Petrova aka The Whisper, a Russian spy who made quite the name for herself killing important people all over the world in her prime! The Whisper wasn't just a super spy either, she was also the only human being to survive the experimental procedure known as "The Yaroslav Program", a medical procedure that gave her superhuman powers, including the ability to shape shift and health incredibly fast! So now the CIA is threatening to put her in a deep dark hole in prison and lose the key if she doesn't use her powers to help track down a copycat assassin who has taken over the mantle of "best spy" in Eastern Europe.  So now "Jenny" is officially In From the Cold, snapping necks, shape shifting, and honeypotting her way to whomever she has to so she doesn't land in jail and have her daughter find out who she really is!  Star Margarita Levieva burns up the screen throughout the first season, in various states of undress.  Also, the younger version of her, Anya (Stasya Miloslavskaya) has a tasty lesbian relationship with Anastasia Martin back in her early killing days we get to see a bit of!
