This spooky season, you can try watching films that are based on real horrors that happened in real life. From true accounts of possessions to horrific murders, these horror movies with nude scenes are based on true events.
Stuck
This 2007 film has skintastic nudity, but is rarely remembered these days. The gorgeous Mena Suvari plays a woman who hits a man in a hit-and-run accident and he gets stuck on her car. She then has to figure out what to do next - apparently, that includes sex! Her character is based on Chante Jawan Mallard who hits a homeless man and leaves him in her windshield until he dies. She wound up being sentenced to 50 years in prison for her crime.
A Nightmare on Elm Street
Freddy Krueger is based on a true story?! Well, kind of. Wes Craven was inspired by an LA Times article he read about refugees in Southeast Asia who died mysteriously in their sleep. The men would refuse to sleep because they said their nightmares would lead to death. They must have been correct because 26 men died in their sleep throughout 1981, according to the article Craven read. Were they visited by Freddy?
Scream
Again with the Wes Craven films! This time screenwriter Kevin Richardson was watching a TV special about a series of murders in Gainesville done by a knife-wielding slasher. It's a small source of inspiration, but it did inspire one of the best killers in cinema history. There is no nudity in Scream, but I can't help but drool over Neve Campbell in a bra.
The Town That Dreaded Sundown
This film is based on the real Texarkana murders which were never officially solved. A 1979 film was made detailing the events that made the citizens of Texarkana afraid to leave their homes at night, but the 2014 version features nudity. It includes a sex scene in which Morganna Bridgers is on top and having the time of her naked life. She seems to like sundown just fine!
The Girl Next Door
This is a brutal one, but it is sadly based on the true story of Sylvia Likens. Sylvia was abused and tortured for months by her legal guardian, her guardian's children, and neighborhood friends. This story brings an awful new meaning to the phrase "it takes a village". It is a horrifying true story that shows just how evil someone can be in real life. The film features Blythe Auffarth nude when she is tied up.
The Amityville Horror
While the truth behind this story might be muddled in many layers of scams and schemes, there is a real crime at the root of the story. The DeFeo murders really did happen, but the couple who moved into the REAL house after the murders fabricated the story of the patriarch being possessed by the murdering spirit of DeFeo. They sold their fake possession story and that became the movies that we watch to this day.
That being said, one of the couple's children remains steadfast in his belief that all of this really did happen. So maybe it really is true? All I know is that Margot Kidder's nipple is very real.
