It's tough to be single during the holidays. Your Christmas cards are awkward selfies, you have nobody to buy toys for, your Elf on the Shelf stays stationary, and worst of all, you're constantly pestered with questions about when you're going to give mom and dad some grandkids. Netflix's first Norwegian TV show Home for Christmas (2019) finds the humor in that uncomfortable situation by presenting us with the best course of action to take if you find yourself in it: just lie. On the show, our leading lady Johanne (Ida Elise Broch) does just that. A thirty-something nurse who is an aunt to tons of her brother and sister's kids, she's so sick of hearing about how sad it is that she's single and so pissed off that she gets all the Christmas shifts at work due to being childless, that she just starts telling everyone she has a boyfriend. But since she's coming home for Christmas and promised to bring him along to meet the fam, that means she's got less than a month to actually get one. From speed dating and Tinder dates from Hell to going as young as eighteen and as old as seventy something, viewers watch as poor Johanne does whatever she can to get a man. But since it's a feel-good comedy, of course there's an age-appropriate handsome doctor (Gabrielle Leithaug) she's going to end up with in the end. What'll really have you feeling good are the sex scenes we get from Miss Broch, that are sure to have you squeezing your cock.
