Israeli actress, writer, and director Hagar Ben-Asher is what's known in the business as a triple threat. But Mr. Skin would argue that Hagar's talents are really quadruple: not only does she write parts for herself, perform them, and direct herself in those roles, she's also quite willing to bare all for the sake of her art. Exhibit A: Hagar's 2011 festival hit The Slut, where she goes totally nude as a 35-year-old single mother who struggles to contain her sexual appetites. We see her boobs during one sex scene and her boobs, butt, and bush during another. More like Hagar Ben-Awesome! Although she hasn't replicated the sluttiness that she exhibited in The Slut, Hagar has been a hottie in several other projects, comprising the shorts Romantic Comedy (2007), Pathways (2007), and Revital Is an Alien (2016); the feature films Julia Mia (2007) and Epilogue (2012); and the TV shows Ha-Chevre Ha-Tovim, The Ran Quadruplets, and Hatufim (AKA Prisoners of War). As for her writing credits, she wrote--and directed--the aforementioned movies Pathways and The Slut, along with Love Letter to Cinema (2014), The Burglar (2016), Dead Women Walking (2018), Intergalactic Samurai (2018), and the yet to be released The War Has Ended. She also directed an episode of the Prime Video crime series Bosch and two episodes of the Showtime crime series City on a Hill. We'd do anything to see Hagar's hills again, but her switch from acting to writing/directing may have ensured that Hagar remains a one nude role wonder.
