Hannah (Lena Dunham) has to do an interview with Patti LuPone for her new job, and decides for some reason to bring screaming queen Elijah (Andrew Rannells) along with her. Things only get worse for Hannah from here. She barges in on Marnie (Allison Williams) having sex with Ray (Alex Karpovsky), which happened in the wake of Marnie meeting Clementine (Natalie Morales), Desi (Ebon Moss-Bachrach)'s girlfriend. No skin from Marnie yet again, as Ray manages to cover her up... again. Why even tease us like that at this point?
Knowing that Ray is at her apartment, Hannah flees to Ray's apartment in hopes of talking with Adam (Adam Driver). They have sex because why not, and we get another look at Hannah's hooters just before this season comes to a close. Marnie also has her open mic and manages to put the embarrassing youtube video behind her. Jessa (Jemima Kirke) gets a job handed to her and Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) is finally graduating from college.
When all else is going to hell in the world, at least you can take comfort in knowing that everything will work out for you if you're white and come from money. Sleep well in that knowledge until Season 4 debuts in 2015 and we get a whole new litany of first world problems to deal with. Isn't life grand?
It's been five whole episodes since Hannah (Lena Dunham) has done a topless scene, so you know what that means! Welcome back to the program Thing 1 and Thing 2! Hannah and Adam (Adam Driver) try to spice up their relationship by trying out some role-playing, and Hannah wears a blonde wig and some sexy lingerie that bares her boppers! We almost forgot what they looked like! It might not have been enough to save their relationship though, as Adam moves in with Ray (Alex Karpovsky) at the end of the episode. Good thing her job at GQ is going so well, otherwise I might be worried for her.
Marnie (Allison Williams) gets a job at an art gallery because she is like, totally qualified for such a job. She's also struggling in her new relationship with Desi (Ebon Moss-Bachrach), and is having a hard time telling if he genuinely cares for her or is just trying to sleep with her while his girlfriend is out of town. If only there were assurances in this world, but then there wouldn't be this show, now would there?
We also get another shot of Hanna's hooters again in this episode as Joe (Michael Zegen) washes her in the tub. There might be something to this relationship now that Adam appears to be out of the picture. Plus, it's not like Hannah's not going to be naked again before this season ends! That's crazy talk!
Marnie (Allison Williams) invites Hannah (Lena Dunham), Jessa (Jemima Kirk), and Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) to her mom's beach house for the weekend because rich people. The girls learn a lot about themselves this weekend because plot device. There really is nothing that can't be solved with cosmos, me time, and money. These Girls know this all too well!
Thankfully their trip to the eponymous abode of this episode contains all four ladies hanging out in skimpy bikinis, and even gives us a nice look at Jessa's jujubes and junk in the trunk as she climbs out of the pool! Who are those guys in the pool you ask? Well Hannah ran into Elijah (Andrew Rannells) and invited him and his new boyfriend (Danny Strong) to come along. There's even a fully choreographed musical number in this episode! This one has it all, except, you know, decent human beings or character development. But it's got everything else!
Chin up everyone that thought things wouldn't work out, Hannah (Lena Dunham) lands on her feet again by landing a job at GQ doing advertorial work. She quickly finds that fitting into corporate culture is harder than she thought, and she's struggling to do personal writing when she gets home after writing all day long. She finds out that Adam (Adam Driver) got a callback for an acting job, but she's so tired, she can't even celebrate with him! She doesn't even have time to get nude in this episode! Guys, it's so tough to be 25 sometimes.
Despite having a new man, Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) flirts with Ray (Alex Karpovsky) after finding out that he and Marnie (Allison Williams) aren't officially an item just yet. Is anyone on this show ever content with what they have? Shoshanna has a fling with her new man, but keeps her bra and panties on, as per usual, and Marnie & Ray have sex as well, but he covers her completely, so we can literally see nothing except his ass! It's like they're just messing with us at this point!
Hannah (Lena Dunham) continues her despicable behavior by using her editor's funeral as a networking opportunity. Because there's always a silver lining for this character, she somehow manages to hornswoggle someone into giving her a publishing deal. See kids, all you have to do is be a truly repellant human being, and good things can happen to you too! On the plus side, we get a topless scene from Hannah as she's getting dressed, jiggling her jubblies a bit as she squeezes into her slacks! That could get your squeezing yourself as well!
Hannah goes for the clean sweep of repulsiveness in this episode as well, throwing Caroline (Gaby Hoffman) out of the apartment! Rather than making Adam (Adam Driver) happy, it cause him to become very upset with her. Of course this will likely work itself out since nothing bad ever happens to Hannah that isn't made right within an episode's time. Oh, and Marnie (Allison Williams) and Ray (Alex Karpovsky) had sex, and are getting back together.
A shocking development kicks off this week's episode as Hannah (Lena Dunham)'s editor David (John Cameron Mitchell) dies suddenly, leaving Hannah's e-book in limbo. Everyone is expecting her to show some sort of sadness over his death, but instead she reacts just as anyone who's watched this show for more than five minutes would expect. She worries about her own career rather than a dead human being that genuinely thought she had value as a writer. Way to go Hannah, you may have finally caused even your staunchest supporters to abandon all hope!
Hannah, Adam (Adam Driver), and Caroline (Gaby Hoffman) got to a graveyard to frolic among the dead, and while turning cartwheels in a very loose fitting shirt, Caroline exposes her chesticles! The magic of Skin Vision will ensure you don't miss a second of the exposure! In a nice change of pace, there's also some nudity courtesy of Hannah this week, as she whips off her bed clothes to get dressed, exposing her rack and back!
Just in case you were wondering if anyone else was still on the show, an old acquaintance staged a mock funeral for Jessa (Jemima Kirke) in an attempt to get her to sober up and Marnie (Allison Williams) quit her job at the coffee shop.
On the eve of her 25th birthday, Hannah (Lena Dunham) finally seems to be viewing the world from a more mature perspective. Marnie (Allison Williams) is handling all of the planning for Hannah's party, and is doing a good job until she invites Adam (Adam Driver)'s sister Caroline (Gaby Hoffman) to the party. Little does she know that Caroline will bring a tornado of destruction with her, as she has frequent outbursts, and does insane things like walk around with no pants on! This leads to the only nudity in the episode as Hannah walks in on Caroline standing bottomless in the bathroom, letting her nappy, au naturel bush do the talking!
At the party, Ray (Alex Karpovsky) and Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) make some attempt at reconciliation, even though Shoshanna seems more interested in living it up in her final year of college rather than getting back into a relationship. More first world problems rear their ugly head when Marnie discovers that Charlie posted a video of her singing a terrible rendition of "What I Am," on youtube and (gasp) people on the internet are being mean to her! How will she ever carry on?
Season 3 opens with Hannah (Lena Dunham) and Adam (Adam Driver) going through a routine like a normal couple. They eat breakfast together, take their meds, and are just generally enjoying one another's company. Natalia (Shiri Appleby) shows up at the new coffee shop to tell Hannah and Adam that they are terrible people and are going to destroy one another.
They don't seem phased at all and get busy back at home, with Hannah showing her hoots and glutes, yet again, as they have sex! Hannah gets a phone call from Jessa (Jemima Kirk) immediately after, and while Hannah wants to hang up, Jessa informs her that she's back in rehab and needs Hannah to come pick her up. That can mean only one thing: Road trip!
Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) seems to have moved on from her relationship with Ray (Alex Karpovsky) and starts the episode waking up with a random stranger. We get a nice shot of her booty as she tries to get out of bed, and although she's wearing panties, it's the sexiest shot we've gotten of her yet!
Hannah (Lena Dunham) is procrastinating once again about her e-book (will she ever learn?) when she receives a phone call from David (John Cameron Mitchell) telling her that he will sue her if she doesn't show up at his office today with new pages. Hannah then proclaims that she will write an entire book in one day! Solid plan! That lasts about five minutes before she calls her father to ask for money to repay the advance and he refuses, telling her she can't rely on him to bail her out all the time! Finally, someone's standing up to this woman!
Meanwhile, it looks as though Adam (Adam Driver) and Natalia (Shiri Appleby) haven't broken up as they're first seen having sex again. This time, it's much more vanilla with her bossing him about and telling him exactly how she wants it. Good thing we get to see her hooters again as it makes the unpleasantness of this scene that much more palatable. The same could be said for virtually every episode of this series.
Adam receives a video call from Hannah and discovers that her OCD is returning, so he runs to her house. He tells her to open the door but she says that she's scared and refuses. He kicks down the door, like a real man would, and scoops her into his arms, kissing her just as the episode ends!
Things seem to be progressing between Adam (Adam Driver) and Natalia (Shiri Appleby), and after a movie one night, she tells him that she might be ready to have sex with him. She lays down some ground rules, however, to make sure that he knows what she likes and doesn't like, but they don't do the deed right away.
Hannah (Lena Dunham) goes to meet with David (John Cameron Mitchell) who isn't pleased with what she's written thus far, which is shocking because everything she does is usually perfect! He tells her that it needs to have more sexual content and she mentions that she recently slept with a teenager, which delights him so much that he offers to turn the e-book into a novel if it's good enough! How could it not be?
Adam goes with Natalia to a bar and hangs out outside so he's not tempted to drink. He runs into Hannah, and although she is happy to see him, he quickly ducks inside to avoid her. Natalia tells him it's not a good idea for him to be at the bar, but he orders a drink anyway. They go back to his place and he tells her to get down on all fours, which she does, and he has sex with her from behind for about seven seconds before flipping her over to blow his load on her chest. We get to see Natalia's knockers in Shiri's nude debut, but it's all for naught as he asks her if she's done being in a relationship with him immediately after, which she doesn't answer, but she clearly is done.
Another big break for Hannah (Lena Dunham) as she is chatting up a guy in the café, and he is so won over by her endless charm and funny stories that he hires to write an e-book! What a charmed existence she has, but she is having trouble finding inspiration, which is surprising considering she's normally so full of ideas, and only has a month to complete the book!
Meanwhile Booth (Jorma Taccone)'s assistant has just quit, and he asks Marnie (Allison Williams) to host his cocktail party tonight instead. She agrees because why wouldn't she, but things come to a head when Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) asks to tag along, putting Marnie in quite a bind. The only upside to this is we get to see some nice cleavage from Marnie in a purple bra as she chooses what to wear to the party!
At the party, everything goes off without a hitch and Booth offers to pay Marnie for her services. Marnie refuses because she says that she is his girlfriend. This comes as news to Booth who was only with her because she was such a skilled hostess at the club, he figured that would translate over to his party. Marnie is crushed and leaves when he says that nobody knows the real him, not even her!
At the café, Hannah (Lena Dunham) and Ray (Alex Karpovsky) discuss the word "sexit," a new term that Hannah has coined for leaving a party to go have sex with someone. They laugh and laugh about how endlessly clever Hannah is! A man named Joshua (Patrick Wilson) comes into the café to complain about trash from the café ending up in his trash bins, and Ray is very rude to him. Hannah tells Ray off and quits, trying to catch up with Joshua and explain that it was her dumping the trash there because she lost her dumpster key.
After apologizing, she kisses him, he kisses her back, and it isn't long before they're getting it on in his house! Hannah's peepers make their umpteenth appearance of the series as they have a marathon sexcapade! After they're done screwing, Joshua tells her that he is recently separated and she becomes distraught over banging a married man. That doesn't stop her from banging him again the next day after they play some shirtless ping pong! We also get to see Hannah's heinie as they screw on the ping pong table.
She goes to take a shower and sits down in the large shower, showing off some full frontal for the first time! Joshua goes to find her and she is crying because she realized that he hasn't told her anything about himself even though she's opened up to him completely. The episode ends with her leaving his house the next morning.
Hannah (Lena Dunham) hosts a party to celebrate her first article being published, but doesn't invite Marnie (Allison Williams) because they are still fighting. Audrey (Audrey Gelman) and Charlie (Christopher Abbott) are the first to arrive, and when Marnie shows up, she's not happy to see them there. Hannah claims she didn't know that Marnie would show up, but Audrey is very upset that she's there, and ends up leaving the party. Charlie gets upset with Marnie, but Hannah comes to her defense, though she does let it slip that Marnie slept with Elijah, causing Charlie to leave as well.
Meanwhile Jessa (Jemima Kirke) and Thomas-John (Chris O'Dowd) are preparing to go meet his parents, and Jessa teases him by lowering her top and flashing her left lactoid for him, which he fondles while talking on the phone! When they meet his parents, they are shocked by the fact that Jessa spent time in rehab for her heroine addiction and how open she is about everything.
Thomas-John's mother then accuses her of only marrying her son for his money, and things come to a head later that night when he calls Jessa a whore with no work ethic. She punches him and he asks her how much money he can pay her to divorce him. They agree on an amount, and Jessa leaves for Hannah's apartment. She finds her topless in the tub, and joins her, with both ladies sitting in the top with their ta-tas hanging out when the episode ends!
Hannah (Lena Dunham) lands a new freelancing gig that allows her to write about anything she wishes. She gets the idea to go buy some cocaine, try it, and write about the experience! Marnie (Allison Williams) suggests that she go talk to Laird (Jon Glaser) the junkie that lives in their building. Unfortunately, Laird is clean now, but he does give Hannah some contacts in hopes that she can get some from someone else.
Marnie, Hannah, and Elijah (Andrew Rannells) head to the club to procure the blow, and Marnie runs into an avant-garde artist she knows named Booth (Jorma Taccone). Marnie goes back to Booth's place where they have sex, but we don't get to see anything unfortunately. On the other hand, back at the club, Elijah and Hannah have now done a few lines and are partying on the dance floor when they decide to swap tops! This gives us yet another chance to see Hannah's hooters as she ditches her white top and puts on his yellow mesh top! There's also a nice shot of them walking through a well-lit drug store with her still in the mesh top, and we can clearly see her cans!
The episode ends with Hannah finding out that she was not the last girl Elijah had sex with before he came out. It turns out it was Marnie, who knew how proud Hannah was of this fact, and Hannah tells Marnie that she is not her good friend anymore. First world problems, people!
The new season of Girls starts out Hannah (Lena Dunham) banging her new boyfriend, Sandy (Donald Glover), and then later spooning with her gay ex-boyfriend-turned-roommate Elijah (Andrew Rannells). Meanwhile Adam (Adam Driver) is laid up in bed with a broken leg with only Hannah checking in on him.
Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) is no longer a virgin, but she can’t seem to stop talking about her epic deflowering. Then at Hannah’s housewarming party she runs into Ray (Alex Karpovsky) and ends the evening by making out against a wall.
The party is also going strangely for Elijah and Marnie (Allison Williams), who after singing a karaoke duet decide to attempt sex on the sofa. Sadly due to some strategic hand and hair placement we only get a side view of Marnie's mammage.
Hannah heads over to Sandy’s apartment at the end of the night, and strips down to her thong for a last glimpse of her glandulars in bed. Every episode should have a boob bookend!
Hannah (Lena Dunham) goes to a book launch party for her old college nemesis, Tally (Jenny Slate), who invited her just to rub the success in her face. Tally’s book is about her boyfriend's death after crashing his car while on Percocet, which gets Hannah longing for a tragedy of her own to write about. At the party she also runs into her old writing professor, Powell (Michael Imperioli), who invites her participate in a reading he has set up for the next night.
Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) is also affected by the book’s heavy-handed sentiment, and decides to live her life to the fullest by creating an online dating profile. Meanwhile Jessa (Jemima Kirke) gets re-hired to her babysitting job despite the fact that the kid’s father tried to sleep with her.
Hannah writes a comical story about a hoarder for Powell’s reading, but all her friends think the subject matter is trivial. She writes a new ponderous piece on death right before the reading, which is not true to her style and leaves Powell unimpressed. At home she has to deal with her equally un-impressive boyfriend, Adam (Adam Driver), who wants to sleep every night wrapped around her like a friendly octopus. But as she shifts away from him in bed we get a quick look at Hannah's zaftig zeppelins. Those pillows look pretty comfortable!
Hannah (Lena Dunham) quits her job at the law firm after her boss refuses to respond to her sexual advances, and has yet to find anywhere else to work. But when she goes home to Michigan to visit her parents, she assures them that she is still gainfully employed.
While Hannah is picking a prescription for her mother, Loreen (Becky Ann Baker), the pharmacist, Eric (Lou Taylor Pucci), remembers her from high school and asks her out on a date that night. After a night out of pizza and dancing they head back to Eric’s place to get down to makin’ bacon. It’s a very dark room but Hannah’s mini-hoots are out until she ruins the mood by trying to slip a pinky in Eric’s stinky.
Meanwhile Hannah’s parents are having a much better screw session in the shower, and Loreen’s massive matronly mams are looking magnificent until Hannah's dad suddenly collapses onto the floor. Those jumbo jugs are big enough to bowl you over!
Charlie (Christopher Abbott) and his bandmate Ray (Alex Karpovsky) find Hannah’s (Lena Dunham) diary while hanging out at her apartment and she’s written at length about Marnie’s confessed relationship problems. The band uses the diary as inspiration for a new song, and Marnie is so mortified at being exposed that she throws her drink in Hannah’s face.
Meanwhile Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet) has reunited with a dude from her Jewish camp (Skylar Astin), but when they get down to business, Shoshanna blurts out that she is a virgin. The confession brings the hookup to a screeching halt, but we do get a great look at Shoshanna’s sweet thong-clad seat.
Hannah gets a text message containing a picture of Adam’s (Adam Driver) junk, and she decides to send him a topless picture in return. So Hannah’s puffy-tipped peepers come out for their close-up while she struggles to get the perfect snapshot on her cell-phone. OMG TIT FTW!
The episode starts off with a bang since Hannah (Lena Dunham) is taking it like a cheap gong from her sometimes hump-buddy, Adam (Adam Driver). Her petite peaks are getting a good jiggling as they role-play that she is a teen junkie that he picked up off the street. Afterwards as they drink post-coital Gatorade, Adam lets loose that Hannah isn’t the only girl he’s hooking up with, and he’s not using condoms with the others.
Marnie (Allison Williams) is not faring much better with her boyfriend, Charlie (Christopher Abbott), since he wants to make love gently and she wants to do it doggie-style. Woof! When she complains about her tender dude the next day to Hannah, she tells her that she is probably just bored with him.
The ladies all gather together at their local clinic to support Jessa (Jemima Kirke) who as an abortion appointment and Hannah who is getting tested for STDs from her unprotected liaisons. Jessa is late for her appointment since she is in a bar around the corner drinking like a fish and having sex in the bathroom with a random guy. During their restroom tryst Jessa suddenly gets her period and realizes that she is not pregnant after all. Nothing like a public bathroom to get you in the mood!
Hannah (Lena Dunham) gets a visit from her parents at her Brooklyn apartment, and they break the news that they'll no longer be supporting her aimless lifestyle. With no way to pay her rent and her roommate Marnie (Allison Williams) freaking out, Hannah asks her boss to upgrade her job from intern to paid position and is consequently fired.
Meanwhile Marnie is preparing a welcome home party for their free-spirited friend, Jessa (Jemima Kirke), who has been traveling abroad and nannying in France. Jessa is moving in with her naïve young cousin Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet), who is in awe of what she sees as her friend’s bold New York City lifestyle. Marnie urges Hannah to get a real job while Jessa encourages her to blindly follow her artistic whims, and Hannah winds up begging her parents for cash after get stoned on opium tea.
Hannah attempts to lift her spirits by going to get porked by her sometimes hump-buddy, Adam (Adam Driver), on his dirty old sofa. She bares her buns to get banged doggy-style, then we get a glimpse of her left lung button as he leaves immediately after. Wham bam thank you for the mams!
