Eye Candy (2015)

MTV has finally given us a television series that doesn’t involve pregnant teens, teenage mothers, or good-looking douche bags living in a killer house together, getting drunk and starting fights. Eye Candy is a thriller series that stars Victoria Justice as Lindy, a twenty-one year old vigilante hacker, who spends much of her time searching for her younger sister Sara (Jordyn DiNatale), who inexplicable got nabbed three years ago. All work and no play makes Lindy a dull girl, so thinks her sexy roommate Sophia (Kiersey Clemons), who convinces her to try and find a man via on-line dating. Yeah, a hot piece of ass like Victoria has to turn to computer dating to find a man! Her romantic journey into cyberspace takes an unexpected turn when she discovers one of her potential suitors is a stalker, bent on the intent of killing her. Aren’t most guys on these on-line sites stalkers? Is it Peter the pediatrician, Reese the car importer, or Jake (Ryan Cooper) the Australian lawyer? When Lindy crosses paths with Ben (Dan Lissing), a hunky cop that simultaneously serves as her antagonist and love interest, she just might have found a boyfriend and an ally in her search for her sis. It’s MTV, so don’t expect any real nudity. The pilot episode provides us with a look at Victoria Justice in her bra, getting all hot and bothered on the roof with her boy toy. Until Victoria gets nude, Justice will never be served!
