Watch out, all you anti-dancing stick-in-the-muds- there's a new Footloose in town. The '80s dance flick has been "re-imagined for a new generation" by director Craig Brewer (Black Snake Moan,Hustle Flow), who justified the remake's existence to The New York Times thusly:
“I want it to really shake them up, and I know people will roll their eyes, but this ain’t ‘Glee.’ We’ve got a little more danger in this movie. We’ve got more sex and tense moments,” Brewer says.
There's just one problem: there's no nudity in this flick. Dancing with the Stars' Julianne Hough appears in her first starring role, and although she caused some tense moments in our trousers by stripping to her bra, donning tight jeans, and flashing her panties as she boogied down, she doesn't quite show the skin that makes us feel like dancing. Hopefully next time Julianne will really cut loose...
