Ethereal Israeli Daliah Lavi has charmed SKINternational audiences with her raven hair and slender figure since the fifties. The story goes she was ten years old when Kirk Douglas, with whom she would later star in Two Weeks in Another Town (1962) convinced the statuesque stunner's parents to send her to Sweden, where she trained as a ballet dancer. Daliah didn't dance for long though, instead she opted to become an actress, making her film debut in 1955's The People of Hemso as a young teenager. She joined Peter O'Toole and Eli Wallach in Lord Jim (1965), and was killed via a syringe, ie the "a bumblee stung one and then there were five" death in Ten Little Indians (1965), before she found her niche in espionage spoofs like The Spy With a Cold Nose (1966) and the literal James Bond, James Bond spoof, Casino Royale (1967). While it doesn't have much of a plot, there are some funny sight gags for fans of the beloved British series. But your favorite sight will be seeing Daliah bound to a table, baring her supple yet subtle cleavage while fending off her comical captor, played by Woody Allen. Hot though she was, Miss Lavi regretfully neglected to show us her naughty pits as the unimpressed kidnapping victim. Still, you'll want to show this sexy spy your double-O face! After playing Rosita in Catlow (1971), she didn't appear in another movie until 1991's TV flick Mrs. Harris und der Heiratsschwinder. Although she appeared as herself in a few documentaries about her work, Daliah never returned to acting and died in 2017 at her home in North Carolina. She may not have been an official Bond girl, but we think there have been fewr more lovely than Daliah Lavi.
