Ah, Showtime. It’s number two, so it tries harder. And back when it debuted in 1994, nothing got audiences harder than their attempt at a softcore sex filled sort of sitcom, Compromising Situations. The anthology series was much different than the stuff Skinemax was offering, since it was actually funny. Each episode was jam-packed with erotic adventures, with offerings sporting such alluring titles as “The Casting Couch” and “Centerfold and the Master.” The premise is based on the idea that your wildest sex fantasies don't always play out in real life like they do in your head, and the show was known for it's twist endings that were sort of like a super horny spin on Tales From the Crypt. So, we get stuff like a surprise threesome having one more dude, and one less lady, than a womanizer (Dustin Forbes) expected, a man (Simon Page) rescuing a gorgeous Chinese woman (Bobbie Page) from an arranged marriage only to see her pick the dude with money after riding his dick, and a radio show host (Robert Ray) whose attempt to have sex with a porn star over the airwaves ends up rather embarrassing for him. With that erotic premise, of course, each show reveals more skin per frame than a tattoo documentary and is far more pleasant to watch. Some of the sensational women willing to show on this Showtime series included Gwen Somers, the amazing hangers of a cowgirl riding Donna Spangler, the chance to get sticky to Miki O'Brien, the mams of Lori Morrissey, the buns and boobs of blonde sex goddess Yvette McClendon, and so much more. We are promising you, you'll love the sexual activities in Compromising Situations!
