Cocaine Bear is loosely based on the true story of a black bear that died from an overdose after ingesting cocaine in 1985. Keri Russell's character Sari gets caught in the crosshairs when her daughter is attacked by the bear in the woods of Northern Georgia. When Sari goes looking for her daughter, she comes face to face with the lethal bear herself.
