When first-time (and last-time) director Lew Lehman was making his horror classic The Pit in 1981, his wife Mrs. Lehman was less than thrilled about her husband being around all the nude young nubiles that the genre conventions required him to include in his movie, so she commanded Lew to absent himself from the set the day the girls were baring T&A. As a result, Lehman’s screenwriter, Ian A. Stuart, who had previously made the documentary The Highland Regiments of Canada (1978), had to film the shots of Jeannie Elias and Laura Hollingsworth revealing rack and rumpage himself. The only nude scene Lew was allowed to film was that of his daughter, Jennifer Lehman, who flashed her funbags for her father. That’s what happens when you marry a shrew, Lew!
