Amalia Batista

So this Amalia Batista broad (Susana Dosamontes) goes and kills her husband because he likes to screw around. Then she does fifteen years in jail, which is fair enough. Then when she comes out she wants to hang with her daughters, go to the mall, watch some TV, talk shit, but her mother-in-law won't let Amalia near the girls. Of course, Amalia’s pissed at this, but at least she’s not out to butcher the bitch-in-law or anything. So Amalia gets a job as nursemaid for a frail old woman, when the old woman’s husband, José Roberto (Rogelio Guerra), offers free legal advice in thanks for her taking good care of his wife. Now she’s thinking maybe she can get her children back, but José seems to be falling for Amalia. Oh oh! We know where this is headed!
