A TV Dante

A TV Dante (1989) is pretty much what it sounds like: a series of four-minute segments where actors read selections from Dante's Inferno, punctuated with both stock footage and newly shot segments. But because this particular re-interpretation of the classics was co-directed by famous British art house auteur Peter Greenaway, it contains many of Greenaway's signature themes--an allegorical structure, layered imagery, and, most importantly casual full-frontal nudity from skin veteran Suzan Crowley.
