Zero Woman: The Accused (1996) is another riveting tale of Rei, the enigmatic assassin who works for a secret government organization--that is, when she isn’t trying to screw guys to death. Rei’s even so enigmatic that no actress ever plays her twice. Mai Tachihara does a great job with the ass-kicking character, though, portraying Rei as a fun-loving, sexually compulsive alcoholic. She’s got pretty bad taste in men, though. Her new boyfriend turns out to be a cross-dressing male prostitute who enjoys killing his customers. Oh well. At least they have some things in common. Mai’s fairly understanding, too, leading to some stellar nudity as she lets her lover administer a haircut when she should be administering hot justice.
