Nude in Theaters
Period lesbian love stories are all the rage at the moment and the trend continues next Friday with the release of Tell It to the Bees! Anna Paquin and Holliday Grainger play the women having to hide their true feelings for one another, but at the 52 minute mark, their passions explode and they get down to it! Anna goes topless in the scene, something you might have caught during her time on True Blood (above)!
After kicking offApril with a nude scene in High Life, Juliette Binoche is also back on May 3 in the new Olivier Assayas comedy Non-Fiction. 40 minutes into the flick, we see her breasts as she rolls around in bed with a guy,though it seems to be as brief as the last nude scene she shot in an Assayas film, 2014's Clouds of Sils Maria (above)!
The Swedish sci-fi flick Aniara, opening in limited release May 17, shows that Europeans are starting to do sci-fi better than Americans in one crucial regard: Nudity! This flick has a ton of nude scenes, including ascene just shy of the one hour markthat involves ten naked women! The trailer also shows off a tease at a lesbian shower scene between Emelie Jonsson and Bianca Cruzeiro (above) both of whom are nude in the scene!
Finally, on May 24, the raunchy comedy Booksmart marks the directorial debut of Mr. Skin Hall of Famer Olivia Wilde! While star Kaitlyn Dever (above, left) keeps covered up, there is some uncredited nudity at 65 minute mark during a pool party!
Nude on DVD Blu-ray
Kicking off the month of May on 5/7 is a deluxe remastered edition of Jim Jarmusch's 2005 flick Broken Flowers. Alexis Dziena(above) steals the whole film at the 38 minute mark, flaunting her fantastic fully nude body for a very surprised Bill Murray!
Surprise Oscar nominee in both the Foreign Language and Cinematography categories, Never Look Awaycomes to home video May14. The epic three-hour German flick is jam-packed with nudity, including a climactic scene where a fully nude Paula Beer(above) descends a staircase!
Roman Polanski's 1994 erotic flick Bitter Moon has been streaming in high def for a while, but finally comes to Blu-ray onMay 21! You've never seen milk used in a sexier way than it is by Emmanuelle Seigner (above) in this steamy flick!
Finally this month, the late, great Agnes Varda's 1977 classic One Sings, The Other Doesn't comes to Blu-ray courtesy of the Criterion Collection on 5/28! The film has a number of nude scenes, many with Valérie Mairesse (above), and all of which are in need of some high def TLC!
Nude on Television
Joe Swanberg's Sex in the City of Chicago series Easy returns for its third season on5/10. While the show is known for lots of nudity, each episode is also self-contained, so we're not likely to see the lusty lesbian duo of Kate Micucci and Malin Åkerman (above) from season one to return any time soon!
After a nearly three year hiatus—during which she voiced the role of L3-37 in Solo: A Star Wars Story—Phoebe Waller-Bridge's Amazon Original Series Fleabag returns for its second season on 5/17! The first season was light on nudity, but it did bring us a right boob slip from Sarah Daykin(above) in the debut episode, so anything is possible!
Spike Lee managed to successfully update his 80s comedy She's Gotta Have It for the new millennium and the second season of She's Gotta Have It, the series, debuts on Netflix on May 24! Fingers crossed for more skin, and more hot lesbian action like we got in season one from series star DeWanda Wise and Ilfenesh Hadera(above)!
It's going to be hard for season two of Vida, returning to Starz on 5/26, to top the face-sitting antics of Michelle Badilloand Mishel Prada (above) in season one, but let's hope this show bucks the sophomore slump and delivers some great nudity!
Finally on the last day of May, Deadwood fans get what we've waited 13 years for: closure, with the premiere of the Deadwood movie on HBO. Details are scant at best right now, but we do know that Paula Malcomson's Trixie (above) is listed among the cast, so she'll be back in business at Al Swearengen's for sure!
